Well I can certainly say that things are as busy now as they ever were. In less than a month, we will be landing in Manila again as we did almost exactly one year ago (for those who can remember), with a couple notable differences. Last year I went as a guest speaker, sent by a loose fellowship of brothers and sisters who had themselves just become without an official home church. This same fellowship of believers, who then helped provide the first means to be able to go, are largely the same group of believers that now represent Christ Evangel Christian Fellowship, and are enabling me yet again to labor, though not as a guest speaker, but as the Assistant Director of the Missions Organization. My, how much of a difference a year can make. CECF is now a participating and active partner in FLM, a sister church to Christ Bible Church of California, and is currently growing in an evangelistic partnership with Mt.Zion and Chapel Library. All of this can only be explained by God's rich and unlimited grace. " Grace! Grace! God's Grace! Grace that is greater than all our sin!" I pray that as we enter a new season, we may do so with a full breath of praise in our lungs, and the wind of encouragement beneath our wings. The Lord has never failed and He never can. The Lord lifts us up from the dunghill and the ash heep and prepares praises for Himself. Only because He makes the worm to thresh the mountains do we thus prevail. Therefore, let us magnify Him as only humble sinners, redeemed by grace, can do! I do solicit and ask for your prayers as we prepare to return to this particular field. We will be centering our work this time on the northern island of Luzon. After holding two conferences in the metro Manila area, we will be pushing into the northern areas where we have not yet been before. Ground travel will be on the measure of about 6 to 8 hours and we will be holding another 2 conferences in Bontoc and Baguio City. Long car travel in the Philippines tends to be considerably more arduous than what we are accustomed to here in the states. Roads are less maintained, and there is no regular traffic pattern, and much more... exciting. Please remember the team members, the pastors to whom we are ministering, their churches, the conference attendees, and the many who will be receiving free literature. We pray to be a blessing to many souls. Pray for The Lord's favor, His mercy, His grace, and the power of the Holy Spirit to convict and edify His churches! Thank you in advance! Whenever we return, I will make a point to send out a Mission Report for all to read. Lord bless you all! Pastor Austin
