Christ Evangel Church is an elder-led congregation located in Santa Rosa County, Florida. God has been gracious to remind us that the fields are white unto harvest not only here in Northwest Florida, but around the globe as well. Moreover, Christ Evangel Church has the privilege of working with FirstLove Missions in its efforts to see the nations redeemed.

We aim at a biblically Christ-centered Christian life. Such an aim can only be reached by giving careful attention to the centrality of Christ in three areas: doctrine, worship, and lifestyle.

In doctrine, God’s unsolicited and unearned love is seen as the cause of salvation. The glory of His great Being is the ultimate end of salvation. And He is everything in between!

In corporate worship, there is a joyful seriousness in which prayer, song, reading, and sermon all unite to aid God’s people to see and reflect the majesty of God. God’s preferences, as stated in Scripture, dictate our choice of ‘worship styles’, rather than man’s preferences.

In lifestyle, the glory of God is the end to which we strive for. Personal growth in Christ-likeness is the goal. Christ Evangel Church labors to help its members move toward maturity in Christ in each of these areas which make up a God-Centered church.

• We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.  
  
• We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  
• We believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His deity, His sinless humanity and perfect life, the eternal all-sufficiency of His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father’s right hand, and His personal imminent return to this Earth in power and great glory.  
• We believe that justification (salvation) is an act of God, based solely on the righteousness and atoning death of Jesus Christ, and that becoming “born again” by the power of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation: that is by grace alone through faith alone.  
• We believe in the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, evidencing the nature of Christ by the fruits of the Spirit in the lives of those born from above. We believe that those who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God. 
• We believe in the Lordship of Christ over His church; the observance of the ordinances of baptism by immersion for believers and the Lord’s Supper.  
• We believe in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed in the new heaven and new earth, and the eternal doom of the unregenerate in the lake of fire and brimstone.
